I am glad to be back to full time sessioning after 3 and a half months off. I am happy to start seeing you all again.

Polite(ish) Notice:
During the lockdown I received no government help, despite paying a fortune in tax and declaring what I earn so please bear in mind that if you cancel I cannot go back in a time machine and retrieve that time and give the slot to someone else, please only arrange a session if you can definitely make it, cancelling an appointment last minute will mean all future appointments, even on the day will require a 50% non refundable deposit with no exceptions. I have had to write this due to the extreme amount of timewasting I have had today on my first day back, and total lack of respect shown to me as a self employed person.

**All advance bookings require a 50% deposit with absolutely no exceptions, only call me to arrange this if you are 100% sure you can make it, I can’t hold the deposit over for another time or date if you cant make it when you say you can**

Just a reminder, if trying to call me to book a session please try and use the 07590 468440 number, as that is a contract mobile, the other number is a back up if that one does not work and is on pay as you go, so costs me a fortune to get back to you.

Also some people are having trouble finding my site on a search engine, no need to search, just remember the url, which is my name with a .co.uk at the end “mistressrose.co.uk” some search engines will not bring it up as there are there are parental controls on, so rather than search, just type it in on the address bar on your browser, it will bring my site straight up. It will always appear on google when I type “mistress rose” or “mistress rose Farnborough”, but some people are having issues for some reason.

The only problem with this time of year is working out, I really put a lot of effort in and get my heart rate up to the aerobic zone and so I have a large fan on me, plus an air-conditioning unit, that cools the room right down in the warmer months, I would love to work out in a fridge if possible. I used to work out in gyms but the air con was never strong enough, and I got fed up of people hogging the equipment, mostly the weights, I could sit there for ages, while someone camped on a piece of equipment, making my workout take double the time. In the end I decided to buy some really good quality equipment as long term it was much cheaper than a gym so I bought an “all in one” gym to do all the weights, a pull up and dip station, and a cross trainer. I have saved myself a small fortune in doing this, good thing I have the motivation to use it. So this morning I did an exhausting workout, at 7.30am which I really enjoyed and left me feeling energized for the day. The only thing I enjoyed about the gym, was going on the the leg press machine which a man had just used, and putting the pin further down to press much more weight than him, I used to get comments on that! I have very very strong legs, trouble is when I went to far, my legs got a bit too muscular, so now I just work them out with the cross trainer.

I received a lovely box of chocolates in the post, a very welcome gift, my absolute favorites which I am rationing, I love going into London to the Paul A Young shops (hopefully soon) I am staying in watching TV, some programs from the 70s like “Jason King” fun to watch just for his outfits (did anyone really dress like that?), and some real gems on “Talking Pictures”, makes you realize how times have changed, especially in the last 20 years.

Happy to see things gradually going back to normal, when I popped out today, the roads were busy, plenty of people around, and almost everything open, was so nice to see. Also looking at the official covid figures the rates are going down even more.

Sex workers/Dominatrix are allowed to work from July 1st in the Netherlands, I think they were talking about September a while back!

I cannot wait now, and am 99% sure I will be working again in July although I don’t think the UK government will give the same guidelines to me that the Netherlands does I will have to play it by ear. It will be great as I was one of the 3 million unfortunate people who didn’t qualify for any government help (thank god for savings), despite declaring everything I earn and paying lots of tax, I paid my July bill and really hated pressing the button on my online banking when I did it. I have had quite a few clients call me in the same boat, but I am sure in the next few weeks most of us will be back at work, maybe not as busy as we once were, but being able to work will be such a relief.

I do worry about the arts & theatre though, I was about to book tickets for a show in May, which then got cancelled, then Cameron Mackintosh cancelled all his shows for the year, and lots of theatres are assuming they cant do Panto this year which makes them a huge amount of money. It would be devastating to see our theatres close, I feel terrible for all those who have lost their jobs and I hope they get some well deserved support, to all those I know in this industry I am booking tickets for September when some shows will hopefully be back on.

To all those who supported me booking webcam and phone, I am eternally grateful, and very lucky, you all got me through those difficult months and kept me sane. I will continue doing webcam/phone even when things get back to normal.

Still here and very well, looking forward to the lovely hot week ahead. I am so pleased to see with each week things are improving, lots of businesses reopening and the 2 meter rule hopefully going down to one meter this coming week. Hairdressers and barbers re-opening in July to the relief of so many people, and I am looking forward to going out for an al fresco meal , although I like my cooking, it will be nice to have someone else do it for the first time in months.

Still here, still healthy, as is everyone I know, luckily all through this time. Does anyone else feel like this past week you have been living in an episode of “Black Mirror” or the “Twilight zone”?

However, Things are looking better every week as regards the coronavirus, I read in The Telegraph, no deaths are reported today in London according to NHS figures. I really hope this continues, and that I can get back to work in July.

I am hoping people will still be able to get out and enjoy the summer virus free, and things can go back to normal soon for the sake of everyone’s health, sanity and economy.

I went in to a shop this week, stupidly not opting for the click and collect option, to be met with a queue, then a complicated system to get around the store, then having to walk all the way down to the other end to pay, as they had blocked all but one way to get to the till. The silly thing was this is a shop that’s never crowded, and has plenty of room even on a busy weekend, I can understand it in somewhere that tends to get crowded, but this felt over the top. Internet shopping all the way from now on.

Sorry to be boring again, just to confirm that I am still here and well, the death rates are doing down fast, so hopefully I will be back in July. I am really enjoying the weather, making the most of it while it lasts.
